For Heaven Peralejo, leaving the PBB House was simply a natural thing to do if someone dearest to her needed her to by her side.
As such, Heaven said in an exclusive interview with PUSH that she was extremely happy about her voluntary exit.
“Masaya po ako na nandoon ako para suportahan ang mom ko; samahan ang mom ko through her recovery,” Heaven said.
The condition of Heaven’s cancer-stricken mom Sheila worsened the past few days and had been scheduled for a delicate operation.
Heaven exited the House on Saturday to visit her ailing mom after Big Brother allowed her. Upon returning, she informed Big Brother that her mom needed her, leading to decide to exit the reality show voluntarily.
Heaven revealed it was a difficult time for her and the family. But she said she will overcome anything that comes her way just for her sake.
“You have to be strong. Lahat ng ikakasaya niya gagawin ko,” a teary-eyed Heaven disclosed.
While it may have been the end of her stint in Bahay Ni Kuya, the “Mommy’s Angel ng Makati” she will always cherish those times inside the House, even if it were not all that rosy given her clashes with fellow teen housemates and the controversies that swirled amid her closeness with Edward Barber and Marco Gallo.
“Dun ko po rin nahanap ang true friends ko, which is si Edward at si Marco. Doon ko nakilala ang totoo at hindi. There’s always two sides of a coin,” she said.
But above all, the best takeaway from PBB house was learning to be “independent” and appreciate being “unique.”
